- Create a GitHub account, use a user ID somehow connected to your name or BUnetID
- Fork the project

- Go to GitHub project settings and rename the project to

- Clone your project int your computer, or a computer in the Jobst 243 lab. Hint: use
git clone https://...
- Edit the python program file and insert your name in the first line as a comment
- Commit the change. Use a meaningful description for your action. Hint: use
git gui
and then rescan and commit
- Push the change into your GitHub repository. Hint: use
git gui
and then push
- Create a text file called
README.md
and edit it in Notepad++ or your favorite text editor
- Add the new file to the project and upload. Hint: use
git gui
and then rescan, stage, commit, and push
- Inspect your repository on-line.
- Change the server name and the URL location to retrieve a different Web page. Test your program/
- Upload the new version to your GitHub repository.
- Inspect your repository on-line again
- Go to the main page of your homewokr project
- Take a screen shot
- Click on

- Take a screen shot
- Click on the most recent commit entry
- Take a screen shot
- Paste your screen shots into a Word Processor file and save as a PDF file.
